Fringe Festival

Fringeshave been a simple way to update your look when you don’t particularly want a major change or are bored with your hair.

Whether it’s short or long a new fringe is the answer. Fringes have received a serious star following in 2014 and are a great way to accentuate different parts of your face.

Whilst wearing it heavy might hide a longer forehead, face framing fringes can create the illusion of more defined cheekbones.

Fringes are a time saver if you’re failing to create a look with the rest of your hair. Throwing your hair-up or in a pony-tail a fringe will soften and frame your face.

Disconnected and short pixie like fringes have always been my personal favourite worn by the likes of Michelle Williams and Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast in Tiffany’s. I recommend a delicate bone structure and an angular face for women to wear this look.

The part in the middle eye-skimming fringe worn by Alexa Chung is ideal for women who are growing out fringes.

Side swept fringes are cut into an angle, shorter toward the part, so it will be easy to push the hair to the side. These fringes are recommended for anyone who hasn’t tried a fringe before.

Let your face be your guide when deciding on a fringe and never take matters in your own hands, your stylist will be glad to take a few minutes to give you a trim.
